While I'm Figuring This All Out...

My original and, I like to think, lovable blog, the Accidental Amazon, is a WordPress blog that lives at the address below.  Allegedly, there's a way to fidget with it so that I can copy my posts from there and put them here.   I wouldn't even consider doing this at all except that Blogger, which is a Google entity, and WordPress, which is not, compete with one another for people like me who insist on thinking that other people might like to read their deathless prose, as well as compete for the people who in fact read our deathless prose in the first place.

This reminds me of the long-standing Mac/PC feud.  Eventually, someone started figuring out ways to get those two star-crossed rivals to talk nicely to each other without bloodshed.  But it's still a relationship that makes us egalitarian types do a lot of extra work -- you know, whom do I invite for Thanksgiving, with whom do I spend Christmas or Hannukah -- it all gets rather tiresome, like being the child of divorced parents.  

In the meantime, I'm putting up this placeholder post in this placeholder blog.  When I figure out how to get WordPress and Blogger to play nice, I'll let you know.  But for now, if you wouldn't mind awfully making an extra click, you are cordially invited to read my deathless prose at the original Accidental Amazon at www.accidentalamazon.com.   You may also scroll through my blog widget on the right for specific posts.
